More Dylusions Journal Pages

Hi everyone,

Hope you had a nice weekend.  Last week was a tough one for me.  A few really difficult family issues going on, not the least of which was the death of my uncle following a long battle with cancer.  That would be tough enough by itself, but life isn't always fair.

Having (finally) found a way to write on my art journal pages that feels safe for me, I poured some of those feelings into the pages below.  It's so interesting to me what comes out of my mind when I don't feel the need to "edit" it.

Here's my pages - all done with Dylusions ink sprays, some Dylusions stencils, Balzer Designs stencils, collage images, some hand-carved stamps, and of course the journaling.

altered this black and white image by coloring in her sweater with spun sugar distress marker

love the border - used my new 15mm Montana paint marker

Hope this week is a little calmer.  Thanks for stopping by.

Sorry about your loss. I have found journaling is so helpful in processing grief. This pages are amazing. . . love them all, especially the Self Doubt Toxic To Success one. That is a good reminder.

It sucks to loose a loved one it's nice that you have art to get the mess out and make it into beauty.

So much emotion is in your pages- it gives them such power! I completely agree with it is hard to feel helpless. May this week be calmer!
