Beautiful Bouquet Dimensional Card

Stampin' Up! ® Independent Demonstrator Ellen Vargo

Today we'll be stepping things up a bit by using stamps from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set, which have coordinating dies, called framelits.  In my day job, I manage a team of 8 people, and I'm always looking for ways to acknowledge their efforts and celebrate their accomplishments and milestones.  One of the ways I do this is by giving hand made cards for both birthdays, as well as employment anniversaries.  So I have a regular need for "Congratulations" cards.

Start by choosing a color palette (see the links below for ink and card stock colors I chose) and stamp 3 of the flowers from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set onto Whisper White card stock.  Stamp more than you need so you will have plenty of design options.  Then use the coordinating framelits to cut out the flowers, as well as the flower stems, the bouquet wrap, and ribbon.    This bouquet would also be beautiful in a warm color palette of pink and red (perhaps for Valentine's?), or in softer pastel tones for a Spring or Easter theme.   Endless options for this stamp set, which makes it a big winner for me.  Flowers work for almost any occasion!

Once you have all the pieces die cut, adhere the flower stem die to the Everyday Label, punched from Crumb Cake card stock and ink the edges using an ink dabber.  Arrange the die cut flowers on the flower stems using single and / or double layers of dimensionals to pop things up at different levels for added interest.

Add some enamel shapes or pearls to the flower centers, and then choose a sentiment to go with your bouquet.  I chose "Congratulations" and created a fishtail banner using the Banner Triple Punch.  Then you can scatter some pearls (like I did) or some enamel dots around the bouquet to tie it all together.
